In general, you submit your event at https://clubs.zwifthacks.com/share.
If you do it without prior whitelisting (see below) it will fail with a message saying that your club is not whitelisted.
You do not have to submit your events if they are in the public event list already.
If you update the settings or description of your event you must submit it again. The easiest is via the event specific update link you got when you submitted it initially.
To delete your submitted event you must use the event specific update link you got when you submitted it initially. Open that page and press the Delete button.
To get your club whitelisted so you can submit events to ZwiftHacks you have to do the following:
Whitelisting is a one time thing. You will not have to add the token to your events in the future.
To submit your club name and have it shown, add a tag like this to your event:
[club:<longname>]
or
[club:<shortname>:<longname>]
where <shortname> may contain letters, digits, and underscore ("_"), while <longname> can contain spaces and period (".") as well.
You only have to submit your club name once. It will be remembered and used for the next events you share unless you include the club tag to your event description.
The shortname can be used to load an event page with just the events tagged with it (https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/clubs/club/<shortname>).
If you do not submit <shortname> it will be generated from <longname>.
The club name will also be shown in the event facts section.
You have a couple of options for controlling the visibility of your event:
The default is that it will be visible on the events page dedicated to club events: https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/clubs
If you want it hidden on that page so it only will be shown on your own club specific page, activate the 'club only' option. Your club specific page is https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/clubs/club/<shortname>
If you want it shown merged into the official event list, mark it as 'Public'. It will only work if your club is specifically approved for this, otherwise the option is silently ignored. For now only ZwiftHacks is approved and until a proper procedure is established only few clubs can be (it is a manual process to set it up for now). Anyway, reach out via the contact form at ZwiftHacks if you have questions regarding this.
You can tag your event description with the wanted visibility:
[share:public]
or
[share:clubonly]
Simply omit the tag for the default.
You can also use the checkboxes in the registration form.
You can make your event part of a series with a tag like this:
[series:<seriesname>]
where <seriesname> may contain letters, digits, underscore ("_"), spaces, and period (".")
An series shortname will be generated automatically from seriesname by removing all underscores, spaces, and periods, leaving just letters and digits. E.g. 'ZwiftHacks Ride Series' will have the shortname 'ZwiftHacksRideSeries'. The shortname can be used to see a series specific page at https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/clubs/series/<shortname> or https://zwifthacks.com/app/events/series/<shortname>
